For Heidi, makeup has always been more than just a creative outlet—it’s about how it makes people feel. “I love helping brides feel calm, confident, and truly themselves on one of the most special days of their lives,” she shares. Her love for artistry began during her years as a dancer, where makeup became an essential part of performance and self-expression.

After moving from New Zealand to Australia as a new mother, Heidi turned her passion into a profession—studying makeup artistry and building her dream business from the ground up. “As a makeup artist, I take pride in accommodating every skin tone, condition, and age. One of Heidi’s most memorable wedding mornings happened earlier this year. After finishing her bride’s hair and makeup, the two shared a quiet moment before the first look. “It was just us upstairs,” Heidi recalls. “I helped her into her dress, glued down her necklace, added a touch of body shimmer and her veil. When she looked in the mirror, she just radiated confidence. She turned to me and said she’d never felt more perfect—and that moment reminded me exactly why I do what I do.”

Heidi’s advice for 2026 and future brides? “Choose your makeup artist and hairstylist carefully—you’ll spend the whole morning with them! Pick someone who brings calmness, confidence, and good energy. Trust them to take care of you, not just your look. And remember, this is your day—make sure it feels like you.”
