At After Five, we adore working with creatives who bring both talent and heart to every wedding. One of our favourite vendors is Kimmi K Artistry, a Gold Coast–based makeup artist known for her signature soft glam styles for brides, formals, and special occasions.

With over 10 years in the beauty industry, Kimmi’s journey began in retail working with “formal girlies,” but has since evolved into a thriving business dedicated to brides and bridal parties. Her passion shines through in every look she creates—glamorous, polished, yet always personal.

For Kimmi, makeup is more than artistry—it’s about connection. She loves learning her clients’ stories and being part of such a special day. Knowing she can make a bride feel incredible and confident is what inspires her most. As Kimmi says, “To me this isn’t work—I love what I do so much. My clients inspire me and my work environment is always so positive.”

Some of Kimmi’s most cherished memories are what she calls her “full circle moments”—when someone from her past, like an old school friend or colleague, books her for their wedding day. “It makes me feel like I’ve achieved something great,” she shares. “Pinch-me moments for sure!”

Kimmi’s biggest advice? “It’s your day—make sure it’s exactly how you want it. Trust your vendors and don’t stress about the small things. Go a little heavier with your makeup so it lasts all night, but it can still look natural and soft in photos.”
