An editorial study in movement, light, and modern romance

Recently, AFTER FIVE had the pleasure of contributing gowns to a beautifully curated styled shoot at Twigley Farm, created by Soirée Styled Events and brought to life by an incredible team of wedding creatives.
Set across open landscapes, golden light, and softly textured spaces, the editorial explored a more relaxed expression of modern bridal. Romantic, undone, and refined, it was a celebration of movement, feeling, and the beauty of allowing each moment to unfold naturally.
Twigley Farm offered the perfect backdrop for this story. Open yet intimate, considered yet unforced, the venue created space for a wedding vision that felt elevated without feeling overly composed. Light moved gently across the fields, the styling softened into the landscape, and every detail felt as though it belonged.

At the heart of the shoot was a sense of ease. The couple moved through the space with laughter, closeness, and quiet intimacy, bringing warmth and energy to the editorial. Rather than feeling staged, the moments felt present and alive, capturing the kind of modern romance that feels both effortless and deeply personal.
For AFTER FIVE, the gowns selected were chosen to complement this direction. Sutton brought a clean, sculptural elegance with its fitted silhouette and refined simplicity, while the Omni Mini introduced a playful, fashion-forward contrast. Together, the looks reflected the versatility of the contemporary bride; someone who values style, individuality, and the freedom to move through her day with confidence.
The styling embraced a European summer sensibility, relaxed but intentional. Soft linens, layered textures, abundant florals, candlelight, champagne towers, and a beautifully styled grazing table created a setting that felt immersive and full of life. Every element added depth without overwhelming the natural beauty of the space.

Florals by Leaf and Bloom brought softness, texture, and movement to the editorial, with arrangements that felt organic yet refined. Stationery, tablescape details, and furniture hire added structure and polish, creating a balance between thoughtful design and natural imperfection.
Beauty followed the same understated approach. Hair was softly undone, makeup was luminous and skin-focused, and the overall styling enhanced rather than transformed. The result was a bridal look that felt confident, modern, and entirely present.

As the light shifted, so did the mood. From sunlit afternoon moments to softer evening scenes filled with candlelight and celebration, the shoot captured the feeling of a wedding day in motion. Layered, dynamic, and full of atmosphere.
This editorial reflects a side of AFTER FIVE bridal that feels modern, expressive, and quietly bold. It is bridalwear that moves with the moment, gowns designed not only to be seen, but to be lived in.

Twigley Farm became the perfect setting for this narrative. A space where modern romance feels natural, where elegance feels relaxed, and where every detail has room to breathe.
