Josh proposed during their holiday in Japan, having planned the entire trip as a surprise. On the very first day, at the top of Tokyo Skytree overlooking the city, he got down on one knee. It was a surreal and unforgettable moment, the perfect way to begin their next chapter together.

“I wanted the day to feel fun, romantic, and colourful, very much a springtime vibe,” Ciara shared.

Guests were encouraged to wear colour, bringing a vibrant energy to the day. Bridesmaids wore soft baby yellow, while the florals featured a mix of pinks, yellows, oranges, white, and touches of blue.

The couple also focused on creating an experience for their guests, incorporating a margarita tower, photo booth, whiskey and cigar bar, and a gelato cart. Their photos at Cabarita Headland added a breathtaking, natural backdrop to the celebration.

“After visiting a few different bridal boutiques, After Five Bridal was completely different,” Ciara shared.

Working closely with the team, she customised every detail of her gown,  from selecting the fabric to adding a corset back, pearl detailing, and pockets. “It felt so personal, and I just knew it was the one.”

“For us, it was creating a day that felt like an experience,” Ciara shared. “Having all our favourite people together, enjoying every little detail we had planned, it was just the best feeling.”

Ciara and Josh’s wedding was a celebration of colour, personality, and modern romance, a day that felt effortlessly them, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
