Sarah & Dylan

Some weddings feel like a true escape, and Sarah and Dylan’s beautiful celebration in Fiji was exactly that. Set against the tropical surrounds of the Shangri-La, their wedding was filled with sunshine, ocean air, traditional Fijian culture, fireworks, and the kind of relaxed joy that only comes from celebrating with your favourite people on holiday.

From a beach proposal in Bali to a destination wedding in Fiji, their story has always had a sense of adventure woven through it. After meeting at the very end of high school, Sarah and Dylan have been inseparable ever since. Together, they built a home, created a life, and when the time came, marriage felt like the most natural next step.

Their wedding style was fun, tropical and full of party energy. With guests already relaxed and enjoying the holiday atmosphere, Sarah and Dylan wanted the day to feel like more than just a wedding. They wanted it to be an experience. Traditional Fijian dancers brought an incredible cultural element to the celebration, while fireworks added a beautiful full-circle moment, connecting their wedding day back to the night Dylan proposed in Bali.

For her gown, Sarah chose Cicely a gown that felt comfortable, flattering and completely her. The dress featured a clean square neckline, supportive straps and a full skirt that moved beautifully through every part of the day, from beach portraits to bridal party celebrations and dancing under the island sky. For Sarah, the magic was in how the gown made her feel.

“It ticked all the boxes,” Sarah shared. “The dress fit me and not the other way around. I felt comfortable and beautiful at the same time.”

Captured by Yoshi from Ocean Studios Fiji, Sarah and Dylan’s wedding was the perfect mix of romance and celebration. Elegant, effortless and full of personality, their day reflected exactly who they are as a couple, relaxed, joyful and ready for the next chapter together.
